Your Business Idea

In this day and age of the rising entrepreneur, there are innumerable business ideas popping up all around us. It’s vital that the ideas are communicated well in order to get them “From a Dream to Done”.

I am sooooo EXCITED !!
You are here….ready to begin the journey.

I want you to concentrate on three main topics only:

  • Your Vision for the Business
  • Your Mission for the Business
  • Your Goals for the Business

To help you develop your thoughts, I have included the definition of Vision, Mission, and Goals and have included a quick analogy.

Vision – A description of what your business would like to accomplish in the future. It is future-focused and long range.

Analogy: Picture yourself on a hike to the top of a mountain. You hike up the mountain so you can get a clear Vision of the view from the top. Your Vision is what you see once you are at the top.
Explain what you envison your businesss to be once you are up and running!

Mission – An explanation of the main purpose of WHY you want to accomplish this endeavor. It is current -focused and active. This statement includes the core values you want to instill in your business and how you plan to incorporate those core values.

Analogy: This is the step by step hike up the mountain everyday. The answer to the question “Why am I climbing this mountain?” and “How am I accomplishing the climb each day.”

Explain why you are creating this business and how your business will meet a need.

Goals – The planned results you want to achieve within a certain time frame.

Analogy: This is the destination you plan to reach after day one of the hike. After day two of the hike. After day three of the hike. And so forth, until you reach the top of the mountain….the long-term goal.
Explain the results your business will accomplish in 1 year, 3 years, and 5-10 years.

Make It a Great Day!
